Classification: IGT TERRE SICILIANE
Winemaking: Destemming followed by 12 days on the skins at 25°C. After racking malolactic fermentation is fully carried out in steel tanks and further aging in barriques for 6 months. After bottling further aging in bottle for about one month at controlled temperature.
Origin: Western Sicily
Shelf-life: Wine to drink immediately or to store for up to three/five years
Tasting notes: Dark red wine; intense aromas of black berry fruit and hints
of licorice; harmonious flavor with aromatic persistence. It is ideal with spicy dishes, stews, roasts and aged cheeses.
Serve at a temperature of 18°C.
